Emergent Staffing is recruiting a Data Engineer for a direct-hire hybrid role with an anonymized client in the Iowa City-Cedar Rapids metro. The position designs and maintains ETL/ELT pipelines, integrates ERP and manufacturing data, develops data models and testing frameworks, monitors data quality and workflow performance, and delivers reliable datasets for reporting and analytics. Required capabilities include production data pipelines, SQL, Python, data integration, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication; preferred experience includes Prefect or Apache Airflow, CDC or incremental processing, dbt, MongoDB, Redis, Microsoft SQL Server, Docker, and cloud analytics platforms. Candidates must attend weekly in-office meetings and be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
