Amazon is hiring a Data Engineer to design, build, and operate data pipelines, models, and platform infrastructure supporting analytics, science, and AI initiatives. The role owns the end-to-end data lifecycle, including ingestion, transformation, modeling, quality enforcement, and delivery, and uses AI development tools and multi-agent workflows to automate data engineering tasks. The engineer will also contribute to the shared data platform, developer tooling, infrastructure, and services used by the broader data organization. The position is based in Hawthorne, California, and offers a base salary of $101,300 to $160,000 annually.
