Description
Amazon is hiring a Data Engineer for its Global Business Operations team to build and improve cloud data infrastructure for Amazon Leo. The role focuses on developing data products, ETL/ELT pipelines, data models, catalogs, governance, and automated datasets using AWS technologies such as Glue, S3, Redshift, MWAA, EMR, Lambda, and Data Zone. The engineer will collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and simulation engineers, provide technical guidance to data consumers, and support forecasting and system-input data needs. The position requires at least three years of data engineering experience, a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, and U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or refugee/asylum status; it is based in Arlington, Virginia, with a base salary of $132,100 to $178,800 annually.
