Baselayer is hiring an early-career Data Engineer to build and operate production ETL/ELT pipelines and data models that ingest public records, web signals, and fraud telemetry for entity resolution, fraud detection, KYB, and customer-facing APIs. The role involves data quality, observability, performance tuning, security and regulatory compliance, and collaboration with data scientists, ML engineers, and product. It is based in San Francisco with a hybrid arrangement of four office days per week and offers a salary of $120,000–$150,000 plus equity.
