Description
Bayer is hiring a Data Engineer to design, implement, and operate data pipelines for its manufacturing data landscape. The role owns AWS-based datastores, data lakes, and data warehouses; develops ETL/ELT processes; integrates MES, SAP, device databases, historians, and production assets through technologies such as Node-RED and OPC UA; and collaborates with data scientists on predictive models and AI use cases. The incumbent will also serve as an AI Ambassador for responsible, regulated AI in pharmaceutical production. The position is based in Weimar, Germany, offers a full-time salary of €77,300–€93,800 plus variable compensation, and supports hybrid or part-time work.
