BCN is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize data solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Azure technologies. The role involves creating modern data platforms, unlocking data value for clients, and contributing to scalable, robust, and business-focused data engineering solutions. Responsibilities include designing ETL/ELT pipelines, implementing data models, collaborating with various teams like Power BI developers and AI specialists, and acting as a client-facing consultant for stakeholder engagement and solution shaping.

Preferred Qualifications: experienced Data Engineer who is comfortable working independently and within multidisciplinary project teams, with a strong foundation in modern cloud-based data platforms and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions for clients.
strong technical skills across T-SQL, Python and PySpark, with experience developing robust data processing solutions and optimising performance across databases, transformation workloads and data platforms.
Experience working within deployment pipelines and modern DevOps processes would be advantageous.
solid understanding of data quality, governance and security principles, including metadata management, lineage, role-based access control and data protection requirements.
Strong communication skills are essential, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions, facilitate technical discussions with stakeholders and produce clear technical documentation.
