Description
Bridgewater Associates is hiring a Data Engineer for its Asia Commodities team within Asia Strategies. The role owns vendor data relationships, transforms market data into analytical constructs, builds supply/demand balance-model inputs, maintains dashboards and monitoring tools, and develops scalable data pipelines for systematic commodities strategies. The engineer will also partner with investors and developers, incorporate AI/ML technologies, and develop expertise in Asia and Chinese commodities markets. The position requires 2–4 years of relevant experience, strong Python and SQL skills, modern data-platform experience, and willingness to work with Scala-based production systems. It is an onsite role requiring four days per week at either the New York City campus or the Singapore office, with an expected annual base salary of $150,000–$200,000 and immigration sponsorship.
