The Senior Data Engineer will design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines, ETL processes, data warehouses, data lakes, models, and storage solutions. The role involves collaborating with data scientists and analysts, ensuring data quality and security, optimizing query performance, evaluating new technologies, mentoring junior engineers, and supporting data-driven decision-making. Candidates need a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, at least five years of data engineering experience, programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala, experience with Hadoop, Spark, Hive, SQL, relational and NoSQL databases, and cloud platform experience.
