Ekumen is hiring a Data Engineer to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize a Java and Python data ingestion pipeline that supports decision-making and reliable data. The role involves implementing scalable improvements, writing clean and testable code, participating in code reviews, and collaborating with data scientists, engineers, and other stakeholders. Candidates need at least four years of Data Engineer experience, strong Java and Python proficiency, analytical and problem-solving skills, and B2/C1 English communication skills; experience with Apache Beam or Spark, observability tools, and cloud platforms is preferred.
