Fonoa is hiring a Data Engineer to bootstrap an internal data platform from scratch. The role will design foundational data infrastructure, consolidate data from multiple systems, build queryable data products, establish data governance and quality standards, and partner with Infrastructure, Finance, Operations, and Product stakeholders. The position requires 5+ years of data engineering or similar experience, strong SQL and programming skills, ETL/ELT and data warehouse or lakehouse experience, familiarity with modern data-stack tools and cloud platforms, and prior experience bootstrapping a data platform.
