Fortive is hiring a Data Engineer to build and maintain reliable data pipelines, scalable data models, dbt transformations, and governance practices across Snowflake and Airbyte. The role also develops AI-powered applications using retrieval-augmented generation, tool calling, and agent-based workflows, while monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with business stakeholders. Candidates need software or data engineering experience, strong SQL and programming skills, cloud data warehouse and pipeline experience, Snowflake and dbt expertise, and familiarity with LLM-based applications and modern software engineering practices.
