Description

Interstates is hiring a Data Engineer to build and maintain data foundations supporting dashboards, analytics, and data products. The role focuses on ETL/ELT pipelines, SQL, data integration, orchestration, data quality, and industrial or manufacturing data systems, while partnering with analysts, developers, and operational teams. The position is in person and requires the selected candidate to be based near or in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, or Sioux Center, Iowa, with travel potentially up to 10%. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, software development, or a related technical field.

Experience with modern data orchestration and integration tools.
Preferred Qualifications: Python or similar scripting experience.
Experience with machine learning or AI/ML-ready datasets.

Understanding of manufacturing KPIs and operational metrics.
