KIS is hiring a remote Mid-Level Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, SQL-based data transformations, data models, and Python automation. The role also involves monitoring and troubleshooting pipelines, implementing data quality and security controls, building AI agents, collaborating with analysts and engineers, and documenting data platforms. Candidates need production data-engineering experience, strong SQL and Python skills, cloud-platform experience, and hands-on AI-agent experience; GCP and BigQuery experience is desirable.
