Description
Koch is hiring a Data Engineer to join its Data Engineering team in Arlington, Virginia or Wichita, Kansas. The role involves architecting and implementing end-to-end database-centric pipelines, processes, and automation; maintaining relational and NoSQL systems; tuning databases and data platforms; building monitoring, troubleshooting, and automation tools; and developing SQL and NoSQL solutions using technologies such as PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Snowflake, Spark, Java, and Python. The position requires a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree, at least three years of data engineering experience, strong coding and database skills, DevOps and CI/CD knowledge, and experience mentoring data engineers. Compensation is estimated at $120,000–$170,000 per year plus variable pay, with medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
