Data Engineer - Natural Gas at Kpler

Kpler is hiring a Data Engineer for its Natural Gas business unit to support the development of a new US Gas product. The role focuses on scaling data sources, maintaining and improving data scrapers, building backend tools and data pipelines, documenting processes, monitoring data quality, ensuring API performance, and collaborating with analysts and product stakeholders. The position requires approximately 3–5 years of data-focused software engineering experience, Python, PostgreSQL or similar databases, RESTful APIs, Git, Agile, time-series and events data, and performance optimization; AWS, Terraform, Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes, monitoring tools, and NoSQL are desirable.
