Description
Macaw is hiring a Data Engineer to build reliable data pipelines, extract data from source systems, model data in star schemas, and maintain data platforms using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, and Azure Data Factory. The role includes CI/CD, monitoring, troubleshooting, documentation, and mentoring junior colleagues, with client projects in the Netherlands and Germany and internal initiatives involving Microsoft Fabric, AI, Copilot, and data governance. The position requires 3–6 years of data-engineering experience, strong SQL and Python or PySpark skills, and hands-on experience with at least one listed Microsoft or Databricks technology.
