Description
Macaw is hiring a Data Engineer to build reliable data pipelines, extract data from source systems, model data in star schemas, and maintain data platforms using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, and Azure Data Factory. The role includes CI/CD, monitoring, troubleshooting, documentation, and mentoring junior colleagues, with work primarily on client projects in the Netherlands and Germany and internal Microsoft data initiatives. The position requires 3–6 years of data-engineering experience, strong SQL and Python or PySpark skills, hands-on experience with at least one Microsoft data platform, and fluent Dutch with professional English.
