Makpar is hiring an experienced Data Engineer to support a federal client in building, testing, and optimizing cloud-based data pipelines and enterprise-scale analytics solutions. The role involves Python and SQL pipeline development, ETL design, database management, Databricks workflow automation, GitHub/GitLab integration, CI/CD, data validation, and collaboration with analysts and developers. Candidates must have an active Secret clearance, local residency in Maryland, Virginia, or Washington, DC, a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, and 3–5 years of data engineering experience.
