Description
Matterworks is hiring a Data Engineer to build, operate, and improve end-to-end pipelines that acquire, transform, validate, and enrich mass spectrometry and molecular data for AI training and product use. The role owns pipeline reliability, data quality checks, schema consistency, metadata, dataset ingestion, and failure handling, while working with machine learning researchers, scientists, and product teams. It requires at least two years of production data-pipeline experience, Python and SQL proficiency, and familiarity with cloud data infrastructure; the position is full-time and may be fully remote or based in the Somerville, Massachusetts office.
