Description
The contractor will deploy, configure, harden, and operate a Globus Connect Server v5 platform on GCP Compute Engine VMs in a Data DMZ, including S3 storage gateways, collections, authentication, DNS, endpoint registration, and end-to-end data-transfer workflows. The role also provides user onboarding and research customer support, operational monitoring, performance tuning, security and compliance controls, documentation, knowledge transfer, and collaboration with Mayo Clinic teams. It requires at least three years of Globus platform experience, GCP and Linux administration skills, networking and security knowledge, and familiarity with large-scale managed file transfer operations.
