MerQube is hiring a Data Engineer in Bangalore to modernize and scale its market data and index-computation platforms. The role involves building and operating AWS-based ETL/ELT pipelines, data lakes, lakehouse platforms, data models, quality and observability frameworks, and data catalogs; supporting index construction, analytics, research, and reporting; and collaborating with product, index operations, research, and engineering teams. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 4–7 years of data engineering experience, Python and SQL skills, batch or streaming ETL experience, cloud and data orchestration experience, and familiarity with financial data and identifiers.
