The CDC Foundation is hiring a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain data infrastructure for the Workforce Acceleration Initiative supporting the Mississippi Department of Health. The role focuses on HL7 provider onboarding, HL7 v2 interface implementation, message routing through Rhapsody, data pipeline and storage optimization, testing, security, documentation, and knowledge transfer. It is a fully remote, grant-funded, limited-term opportunity for U.S.-based candidates ending June 30, 2027, with a salary range of $103,500-$143,500 per year plus benefits and up to 10% domestic travel.
