Ripjar is hiring a remote-first Data Engineer in the UK to help build and operate a Data Collection Hub that ingests data from many sources, processes and enriches it, and distributes it to downstream systems for financial crime detection and monitoring. The role focuses on distributed ingestion services, high-throughput processing, data contracts, reliability, observability, CI/CD, and pragmatic software engineering in a Python/Node.js stack with data and orchestration tools such as Spark, Hadoop ecosystem technologies, Kubernetes, Airflow, Dagster, and NiFi.
