Description
Salmon is hiring a Data Engineer to build and own data pipelines and lakehouse architecture for its fintech platform. The role covers batch and streaming pipelines on Databricks and Apache Spark over AWS, S3 and Delta Lake lakehouse design, ETL/ELT pipeline reliability and cost optimization, Spark performance tuning, Databricks infrastructure and security, and Unity Catalog governance. The position requires hands-on Databricks and Spark experience, Python, SQL, and testable code; infrastructure-as-code experience is a plus. It is hybrid-first with fully remote work available for eligible roles, with an office in Bonifacio Global City, Manila.
