Description
Sierra is hiring a full-time Data Engineer to build and operate large-scale data systems for its customer-facing AI agents. The role covers real-time eventing, streaming and batch ETL, Iceberg-based data lakehouses, OLAP querying, orchestration, experimentation, long-term agent memory, customer data platform primitives, and personalization systems. Candidates should have 4–7+ years of production software development experience, a computer science degree or equivalent professional experience, and strong backend, distributed systems, data modeling, and full-stack engineering skills; experience with event streaming, data visualization, recommender systems, or technical leadership is preferred.
