Description
Sporty is hiring a Data Engineer to design, build, test, optimize, and maintain scalable batch ETL and near-real-time data pipelines and architectures supporting machine learning and data science initiatives. The role involves ensuring data quality, improving data delivery and infrastructure, building API integrations, and collaborating with data scientists, MLOps engineers, product owners, and BI analysts. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, at least three years of data engineering or related experience, strong SQL and Python skills, experience with data warehouses, databases, data modelling, Airflow, Spark, and AWS cloud services. The position is remote first, with core working hours of 10am–3pm in the candidate’s local time zone.
