VNG AG is hiring a permanent Data Engineer to support its Leipzig site. The role develops, operates, and optimizes modern data platforms for analytics, reporting, and data-driven applications; designs batch, near-realtime, and realtime data pipelines; creates data products, models, data lakes, lakehouses, interfaces, and APIs; and ensures data quality, availability, performance, and traceability. The engineer will collaborate with business departments and data owners, support BI and self-service solutions, and monitor data engineering and business intelligence technologies. The position requires a relevant degree or comparable qualification, several years of data engineering or related experience, strong SQL and ETL/ELT skills, experience with modern data platforms, excellent German and English skills, and flexible home-office options.
