Description
The employer is hiring a mid-level Data Engineer to build and maintain an in-house, air-gapped data platform for AI and software teams. The role focuses on designing pipelines from ingestion through processing, transformation, storage, validation, quality control, and consumption, including offline-first, store-and-forward, resumable, and reconciliation logic for structured, image, video, sensor, and time-series data. The engineer will use Python and SQL, manage data models and storage, define orchestration workflows, monitor pipeline health, and work with ML, DevOps, and software engineering teams. The position is full-time in Nice, France, reports to the VP AI, and requires strong data engineering, programming, Linux, and software engineering experience.
