Deloitte is hiring a full-time Data Engineer - Databricks for its Consulting, Engineering, AI & Data department in Sofia and Varna, Bulgaria. The role designs, builds, and optimizes scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and Lakehouse solutions using Databricks, PySpark, Python, SQL, Delta Lake, and modern cloud platforms. Responsibilities include batch and incremental processing, Spark optimization, data quality, monitoring, workflow management, governance, and production troubleshooting. The position requires 3–5 years of data engineering experience, hands-on Databricks and Apache Spark experience, and strong English skills; native Bulgarian is required. The work arrangement is hybrid.
