OpenAI is hiring a Data Engineer to design, build, and scale foundational data infrastructure for its hardware and consumer devices organization. The role focuses on reliable data pipelines, distributed systems, data modeling, manufacturing and quality intelligence, device telemetry, and systems that scale from early development through consumer deployment. The engineer will partner with hardware, software, manufacturing, operations, and Data Science teams and help establish engineering standards and architectural principles.
