Amazon is hiring a Data Engineer to build, evolve, and own reusable data products and services for reporting, automation, and AI across International Operations. The role focuses on AWS lakehouse technologies including Redshift, S3, Lambda, and related services, with Python and SQL as primary languages. Responsibilities include service health monitoring, SLA and quality controls, self-healing and idempotent pipelines, agent-friendly services, and operational automation. The position is based in Spain, with Barcelona preferred and Madrid considered, and reports to a Data Engineering Manager.
