Amazon Web Services is hiring a Data Engineer II in Santa Clara, California. The role designs, develops, tests, documents, and operates large-scale data structures for business intelligence analytics, using ETL/ELT, OLAP, data modeling, SQL, and Oracle. Responsibilities include on-line reporting and analysis, translating business requirements into scalable solutions, supporting the full development lifecycle, documenting datasets, evaluating data-engineering decisions, and mentoring junior engineers. The position requires a master's degree or equivalent with one year of experience, or a bachelor's degree with five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience, plus one year of experience with the listed data-engineering skills. It is a 40-hour, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. role with a salary range of $169,129 to $205,600 per year.
