The Data Engineer Lead designs, develops, and supports automated data pipelines, reporting, business intelligence, and predictive analytics solutions. The role modernizes manual Excel and reporting workflows, optimizes SQL and data models, supports model scoring and production data preparation, monitors data quality, and collaborates with business and technical stakeholders. Required expertise includes SQL Server, Python, Databricks, Tableau or comparable BI tools, end-to-end automation, predictive model production, reverse engineering of undocumented Excel reports, and communication with nontechnical stakeholders.
