Description
The Data Engineer will build, develop, and operate scalable data platforms and ETL/ELT pipelines, integrating data from databases, APIs, files, and cloud systems. The role covers data warehousing, data lakes, lakehouse architectures, data quality, modeling, automation, monitoring, security, governance, and collaboration with analytics and software teams. Required qualifications include professional experience in data, software, or data platform engineering, strong SQL and Python skills, relational database and data modeling experience, ETL/ELT knowledge, Git, and basic cloud understanding; cloud, data platform, Spark, Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, streaming, governance, and lakehouse experience are preferred. A completed degree or comparable technical qualification is required, while career changers with relevant practical experience and demonstrable technical skills are welcome.
