Description
Blend is hiring a Lead Data Engineer to lead and scale data solutions for Journey Analytics initiatives. The role sets technical direction, leads a team of data engineers, oversees data architectures and GitHub repositories, refactors legacy codebases, designs reusable data components, manages Databricks pipelines, establishes data modeling and quality standards, and partners with analytics, product, and engineering stakeholders. The position requires 7+ years of data engineering experience, strong GitHub and Databricks expertise, legacy code refactoring experience, scalable data modeling knowledge, and certifications in AWS, Databricks, and Snowflake.
