Blend is hiring a Lead Data Engineer to lead and scale data solutions for Journey Analytics initiatives. The role combines hands-on data engineering with people leadership, including mentoring data engineers, defining technical strategy, designing scalable data architectures and models, building and maintaining Databricks pipelines, refactoring legacy codebases, and ensuring data quality, governance, performance, and reliability. The position requires 7+ years of data engineering experience, strong GitHub and Databricks expertise, experience with legacy code and analytics data models, and certifications in AWS, Databricks, and Snowflake.
