Lifebit is hiring a senior individual-contributor Data Engineer for its Spain hub to build scalable, secure, and compliant infrastructure for biomedical and genomic data. The role leads distributed-system architecture, data pipelines, APIs, observability, incident resolution, and cross-functional delivery while mentoring engineers. Candidates should have an advanced technical degree, at least five years of software or computational-systems experience, strong programming and distributed-system skills, and experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD, container orchestration, and data privacy. The position is remote-first within Spain and offers €65,000–€83,000 gross annually plus a performance-based bonus.
