Valtech is hiring a Senior Data Engineer for a full-time position based in Colombia. The role focuses on building and supporting batch, distributed, real-time, and highly available data pipelines; developing fault-tolerant data computational pipelines; consulting on complex programs; maintaining documentation; tuning large-scale distributed queries; and performing root-cause analysis. Required qualifications include experience with data engineering, analytics, or data science projects, or a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree, along with knowledge of Databricks, Azure, SQL, Python, Spark, cloud services, Terraform, and several additional technologies. The position offers remote and hybrid work options depending on the country.
