SOVRA is hiring a Data Engineering Specialist to own the full lifecycle of data pipelines in a Bronze/Silver/Gold lakehouse architecture on AWS. The role involves building ingestion pipelines, cleaning and consolidating data, modeling Gold-layer datasets with dbt, supporting data products and external customers, monitoring SLAs and data quality, resolving production incidents, and contributing to platform evolution. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, at least three years of data engineering, data warehousing, and ETL experience, proficiency in Python and SQL, AWS data-service experience, dbt and lakehouse knowledge, and experience with Infrastructure as Code and relational and NoSQL databases. The role is based in Canada and does not offer work visa sponsorship.
