EQT is hiring a Data Engineering Intern for its Completions Services team to participate in a 12-week paid summer internship. The intern will support SQL queries, Python scripts, data lifecycle tasks, documentation, light code review and testing, Databricks SQL and notebooks, and ad-hoc data requests, while completing a defined summer project. The role requires a rising sophomore or above pursuing an accredited bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or data field, basic programming and SQL exposure, and no professional work experience.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Currently pursuing an accredited bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or data field; rising sophomore standing or above.
Required Previous Experiences: Some coursework or self-directed experience in at least one programming language, preferably Python.
Basic exposure to SQL or relational databases through coursework, a bootcamp, or personal projects.
Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with basic SQL syntax, including SELECT, JOIN, WHERE, and GROUP BY.
Exposure to Python for scripting or data manipulation, such as pandas.
Interest in the oil and gas or energy industry.
Exposure to cloud-based data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, or Azure.
Coursework in databases, data structures, or statistics.
