Citi is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to lead the engineering of cloud-native data services for its strategic platform, including migration to Databricks and delivery of scalable Spark/Scala solutions on AWS. The role covers data pre-processing, matching engines, AI/GenAI services, platform architecture, performance and capacity optimization, application analysis and programming, and leadership of developers and analysts. It requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with a master’s degree preferred, and offers a hybrid model of up to two days at home per week.
