Version 1 is hiring a Data Engineering Manager to lead the migration of analytics workloads from on-premises software to GCP BigQuery. The role reports to the Data Engineering Manager, coordinates with business teams, assigns and mentors junior and intermediate engineers, oversees testing, quality assurance, project delivery, risks, incidents, and continuous service improvements, and supports project managers. The position requires extensive data engineering experience, cloud migration experience, AI-assisted development, systems architecture knowledge, relational and NoSQL database experience, and strong communication and team-management skills.
