Aptiv is hiring a Data Engineering Manager to build, lead, and develop a high-performing data engineering team in Chennai supporting advanced driver assistance systems and autonomous driving. The role owns the team’s technical strategy, architecture, delivery roadmap, scalable batch and streaming platforms, data quality, observability, security, reliability, cloud-cost optimisation, and operational planning, while partnering with AI/ML, MLOps, validation, product, and other engineering teams. Leadership experience in automotive, ADAS, autonomous driving, IoT, telemetry, sensor, image, or video data environments is preferred, along with experience in streaming, containerised and serverless architectures, infrastructure-as-code, modern data platforms, and MLOps.
