Amazon is hiring a Manager of Data Engineering to lead a team building and operating data pipelines, models, and platform infrastructure for analytics, science, and AI initiatives. The role owns the delivery and operational health of the data platform, builds and mentors engineers, promotes AI-assisted engineering practices, and partners with business intelligence, applied science, and product teams to translate data needs into technical roadmaps. The team uses AI development IDEs and generative AI tooling to develop multi-agent solutions that automate data engineering workflows.
