Scopely is hiring a Data Governance Expert for its Playgami team in Barcelona to build and run an enterprise-scale data governance program for a global enterprise data warehouse. The role is not hands-on technical but focuses on influencing engineering teams to implement governance controls, chairing a globally distributed Data Governance Council, defining data classification, PII handling, access control, lifecycle, and ownership policies, and supporting compliance, security, privacy, risk, and emerging AI governance needs. The position requires 4 to 7 years of relevant experience, a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, and full on-site presence in the Barcelona office five days per week.
