Droyd is hiring a Staff Software Engineer on data infrastructure to own pipelines that move robot video, telemetry, and demonstration data from edge devices to training and evaluation systems. The role covers edge ingestion, streaming transport, storage, indexing, retrieval, reliability, throughput, cost, data inspection tooling, and technical direction for a scaling fleet. It is an in-person position based in San Francisco, California, and requires at least five years of software development experience, large-scale pipeline experience, and proficiency in Rust, Go, or Python.
