Description
The Data Layer Engineer supports mission-critical objectives by designing, implementing, and optimizing ETL workflows for geospatial and non-geospatial datasets. The role manages data governance, metadata and data cataloging, schema and database administration, cloud geospatial services, and compliance with DoD and IC security policies. Candidates must have a relevant bachelor's degree or five years of data-governance experience, along with expertise in tools such as Databricks Unity Catalog, Collibra, Alation, AWS Glue, Azure Purview, PostgreSQL/PostGIS, SQL Server, NoSQL databases, and cloud storage. An active TS/SCI security clearance is required for on-site duty.
