SunSoft Online is seeking a Data Network Telecom Technician for a six-month contract-to-hire opportunity with an Arizona state agency in Phoenix. The role is 100% onsite and pays up to $29.00 per hour on a W2 basis, with a Monday-to-Friday day-shift schedule. Responsibilities include installing, repairing, splicing, testing, and terminating copper, fiber, and coax cabling; maintaining network and communications equipment; and coordinating installation, repair, and preventative-maintenance projects with vendors, contractors, and agency units. Candidates must have either four or more years of cable technician experience or two or more years as a Lead Cable Technician, with technical training in electronics, telecommunications, or digital systems potentially substituting for one year of experience. The position requires Phoenix-area residency, eligibility to convert to full-time employment, and no visa sponsorship.
