Description

Maxinsights Corporation is hiring a Data Operations/Computer Science Intern to support engineering, operations, and business development teams with data workflows, Python and SQL scripting, data pipelines, reporting, debugging, website updates, and cloud infrastructure. The intern will research technologies, translate business requirements into technical solutions, document workflows, and collaborate across teams. The role is intended for someone currently pursuing or recently completing a degree in a relevant technical field, with Python, SQL, cloud platforms, APIs, and web development experience preferred.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
Required Previous Experiences: Experience programming in at least one language; Python is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with Git/version control and general software development workflows.
Ability to read, understand, modify, and troubleshoot existing code.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with SQL and relational databases.
Experience with AWS, Cloudflare, or other cloud platforms/services.
Experience with Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, OpenCV, and Scikit-learn.
Experience working with APIs, JSON, REST services, or data pipelines.
Knowledge of web development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
Experience with frameworks such as React, Next.js, or Node.js.
Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and command-line tools.
Experience with data visualization, image processing, machine learning, or statistical analysis.
Personal, academic, or open-source projects demonstrating programming or technical problem-solving experience.
