Description
Halter is hiring an in-field data collection specialist to gather ground-truth measurements, sensor readings, imagery, and animal or environmental observations on farms. The role coordinates with farmers, follows sampling and annotation protocols, operates collection equipment safely, performs first-line quality checks, maintains records, and supports data operations for machine learning models. It is a six-month term with possible progression to full-time, requires outdoor and farm travel, and prefers agricultural data-collection experience, livestock familiarity, and experience with sensors, drones, GPS/GNSS devices, or structured digital data.
